New Year New Season?

Happy New Year to all our readers & subscribers! It's that time of year where we hear so many prophetic words of promise (The year of...). Whilst these may ring true for some or for the long term, I've learnt that January doesn't always bring a change in our personal seasons. Of course God is always leading us forward in growth and maturity, and He will do a new thing in our seasons, but He doesn't work according to our calendar. A change in our personal season is dependent on His plan, His timing, and our co-operation.

Will you see a new season in 2016? I certainly believe & pray so, but it may come in March, June or September - who knows? Maybe at this time God wants you to continue with what He's already been showing you, or have a fresh resolve to obey in your current season. Maybe you are navigating your way through a dark wintery season and just need to keep holding onto Him. Maybe you just stepped into a new season towards the end of 2015. Whatever the case, endure and enjoy the process. Trust that God has you in the palm of His hand and knows exactly what He is doing. His timing, His plan, His Way is perfect.

The Lord reminded me a few nights ago in prayer, "I AM your reward, your exceeding great reward!". I pray this year that we will find fellowship with Him to be the greatest and most satisfying reward. In all of our goals and in all of our pursuits, may we pursue Christ above all, trusting that purpose and passion will fall into place.

Whatever this year holds, rest assured that Christ makes the difference in all that we go through, He works ALL things together for the good of those who love Him, and are called according to His purpose! Let us commit afresh to seek Him diligently, continue in obedience and stay stirred up & encouraged. Until next time! Nicole X

Philippians 3:8 amp- Yes Furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One).

I felt led to publish this here, a word on my heart originally recorded May 3rd 2016. Be blessed. A word on my heart for the past week or so is the word handicap. Sometimes as Christians we allow our
