Life will be full of painful moments, and a natural response to pain is to withdraw, but as Christians we don't have to allow pain to cripple us. That doesn't mean ignore your hurt, it doesn't mean bottle - up the break-down. It just means don't stay down.
We can press forwards despite present pain when we;
Stay in His Presence - Getting into God's presence intentionally reminds our souls that Christ is enough. His comfort, joy, peace & rest are available.
"Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance" -Isaiah 55:2 NKJV (emphasis added)
Get His Perspective - For whatever loss we suffer, Christ is the gain. Knowing Him in a new way always follows separation from people or things. Whatever situation you find yourself in, know that as you abide in Him, He will be glorified.
"Yes, furthermore, I count everything a loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]..." Philippians 3:8a AMP
Remember that in times where God is moulding and pruning us, it will hurt, when He places us into His refining fire, it will hurt, but He forms in us the beautiful image & character of Christ. Endure the process, beloved.
Hold on to His Promises - Keep the promise in front of you. Whether it's a future promise or the present promise of His comfort and closeness in your time of need.
"...imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." -Hebrews 6:12 NKJV
Scriptures for further encouragement:
May The Lord continue to be the strength of your heart, always. Amen Xx
